Curls rock!

For a long long time, it was my hair that was in the home news!! Mum wd take hours grooming my pretty curls and me, just a minute to spoil them!!!! Common… Isn’t messy hair a trademark of a cute kid?? :P . When my hair was a little manageable, masi started pining my hair so that they don’t come in my eyes. Though most people complained that I looked like a girl, it was ok, at least it kept my hands off my hair! Then from a clip to tiny pony tails, masi’s experiments finally yielded the final result – my new hairstyle – two tiny winy pony tails!! Tell me how do I look? Btw that’s the gate of my school – kangaroo kids.

Baisakhi again

This time for baisakhi my lovely dadi made me a delicious cake. And talking about cakes, I have to tell you, I love to cut them! For a year mum dad cut my cake.. and now I cut everyones cake! Recently, when we were to cut a cake someone gave me a spoon in stead of a knife and I knew exactly that I was being fooled! I need a knife to cut the cake dahlings…I’m not a kid anymore!!! :)

Table mat

Nani got me a winnie the pooh tablemat. So when I am in vashi I use masi’s study table to have my meals! Of course, besides the table mat I needed at least 3 ppl to entertain me when I eating :) . but thats ok….dont they all enjoy it as much as I do?

Booooooooo!

When at Nani's place, my favourite time pass is to hide inside the storage cabinet. Then masi comes looking for me…”ranvir kaha hai… ranvir kaha hai!” and then!!! Booooooooooooooo…. Here I am!!!!!!

Growing really fast

Now that so much time has passed through my latest real update, I’m going to quickly just run you through the developments. Do you remember the gaddi dadi had bought me? I’m so over it now…and use it more to store my stuff in it. Though I ride it sometimes, I like to ride kabeer bhaiya’s scooter more than mine :) . Its faster, and you have to see me ride it. I’m too swift and I’m smart enough to stop before I bang the wall. BTW I’m 1.5 years now, and….. have even started going to school! Ok, its not the real real school, its something like a pre pre school where we bachus go with our mommies and some aunties, I think they are my teachers, tell us to do silly things like clap our hands, form circles, and such stuff. I have been there just once, so I shall update you on the course material in due time. My first day of school – the day I got a lot of gifts from all – I simply clung on to mommy all through the class, and just when I it was about to get over, started playing with the toys!

Besides the school update, I have to tell u guys about my trip to Vizag, a port city in the East coast of India. It was pretty nice actually, and considering it was my first holiday, I indulged in all the luxuries, played in the bathtub at the hotel, went horse riding, went on the toy train, and even went for a walk at the beach. OK – mum dad did most of the walking…bt I was with them na!

I had also gone to vashi to nana nani for some time in between, and got along well with all of masi’s friends. I learned to bowl there with my very own bowling set, and danced, played ball and learned twinkle twinkle lil star. I can even make a diamond when the rhyme comes.

When at Vizag, my aunt told mummy to teach me to read books. And while most of you would think what can a one year old read, ladies and gentlemen, I can’t read but I can point. I know which book has exactly what, and can even point birds, shoes, towel and so many things in my darling books. In fact, I love my books!! Thanks aunty! That’s for now…more updates to follow… I’ve missed you guys!!! muaaaaaaaaah

After a long break…

Its bin so long I haven’t updated this blog.. but kya karu? yeh meri masi bahut lazy hai…she doesn’t get time only for me …sob sob!!

But actually, its not completely her fault…last couple of months have been very busy for me..i was so busy growing up..teething…walking…running…learning to talk…remember and even respond to everything in my own funny way that I only forgot about masi. I would not meet her often and even if I did, would cry a lot…was still getting used to people you see. But now..i’m all set!! I go for birthday parties, and the world is my playground!! Whether it is the mall, a restaurant or a park…just tell me to wear my shoes and get ready and I have nothing to think about! I just love running around (that’s gym sessions for mum) and am inquisitive about everything around me. The TV remote has a new place – the dustbin! – and dadu’s phone was found in the refrigerator! Leaving me unattended for even a minute smells like trouble! Lots more coming up…stay hooked!

Party time!

Uncle Winnie the pooh organised a party for my bday with all his friends...so while all the kiddies were getting their tatoos made and caricatures drawn, mummies and papas were playing tug of war and dancing away to glory! It was fun to see the tiny tottlers running to their parents for queen of sheeba and of course to see them dance - trying to move their tiny little butts and wave their hands! What a way to kick start a brand new year in this beautiful world! love you all and thanks to everyone for their thoughtful gifts!

Thank you all

I can’t believe its been a year I have been pooping, peeing and playing in this beautiful world. What a year its been! I want to thank my mom and dad for bringing me in this world and presenting me with such a loving family. Dadu I’m sorry for pulling your moustache, Dadi, thanks for all the lovely gifts all through the year (I’m going to miss all the firsts – holi, diwali, lodhi and the gifts attached to them), Nana – I’m training to be your partner in crime and Nani – yes I’m a gunda, but a sweet lil gunda :)

PS: Thanks to everyone for their bday wishes, especially Pooja masi and Shanky mamu.

Tigdik Tigdik…

Since the competition is with Vijay Mallya, I’m shoulder to shoulder. Now I have my very own horse as well. And you know what, when I mess with his ear he does tigadik tigadik…. tigdik tigdik…

Zooooooooooooooom

From toy cars to the real car…

Hello papa

It’s been a week since I met papa. I only speak to him on the phone.

Tea party

I have tea with nana nanu sometimes. And because tea is too hot, I simply enjoy the biscuits that accompany their tea party.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Nanu gave me a baby toothbrush and though it’s a little big for me (I’m still an infant)..I can manage to brush like nanu taught me – left nd right left nd right.

Stand at ease

I’m at nani house and what fun it is! I get all the attention, so many new toys and so many new friends. I go to play with them in the evenings in my gaddi and in the night nanu and masi take me on my stroller for a night walk. Besides that we go out every day.. CCD has become my favourite. However, the best fun comes at night – when I don’t let anyone sleep and insist on being entertained. I have learnt to stand without support though I cannot manage to stay up for too long..2-4 seconds is much for me. And and and I love the feeling when I lose balance! So I keep standing….and falling again and again!

Funny bunny!

I went to mahableshwar for a weekend and mum made me a bunny rabbit! And, in stead of carrots, I got to munch on strawberries. :)

Biting into fun!

And if you think I just like to swing, think again. My habit of eating everything in sight hasn’t gone. See in sequence how I enjoy my ride at carters.

Swinga-swinga!

If there is something that I look forward to in a day besides the eating and sleeping routines is the visit to children’s park. So whether it is carter road or patvardhan park, all you children beware, coz I’m not going to wait in the queue!

Trashed!

Have you seen trash as cute as me??

Little red riding hood

On one of her shopping expeditions, nani got her eyes on fancy wrapping papers with fairy tale pictures printed on it. She immediately picked them up and my Lodhi gifts this time came wrapped in these colourful papers. Aint they cool?

Lodhi di party!

Next day nana nani came home. While tayaji tayiji gifted me loads of clothes and dadi a smart stroller (that makes it vehicle no 3 for me after my pram and car), I’m a man of simple tastes and love to stay in my dhoti kurta! Dressed in the one masi gave me for lodhi, I looked like a babu moshaye this time! Definitely a progress from bihari last time.

Bonfire

I went for a bon fire the other day. And it was not one of those camps where one gets to eat tandoori chicken but it was a bon fire we all prayed to. It was Lodhi and that too my first one so everyone was very excited. We dressed up and went down in the building, one aunty said some prayers and then we went round and round 7 times around the bon fire. It was beautiful and people offered sweets, revdis, popcorn (my favourite), and many more things to the fire god. It was fun and I got so many gifts!

Hang-man!

You know these days when mum or my nanny (Ruchika) need to do something and can’t carry me, they put me on this funny little thing, where I’m left hanging in the air. It has wheels and is supposed to move. They call it a walker but I think I’m a little small for it. My feet don’t even touch the floor! In the beginning I used to wonder what to do, but now I keep myself entertained with the toys on it. If any of you people need tricks to keep your naughty children away from injuries, take tips from my mom. She always finds a way!

Peep peep!

Mein nikla… gaddi le ke…fir ek mod aaya…utthe dil chod aya! Nahi nahi this time its not a girl, its my dadi! I love her so much! You know I didn’t have a car of my own and I used to sit on my cousin’s twister because I loved the feel of sitting on the driver’s seat. When dadi saw the thrill I exoerienced on their car, she immediately went and bought me my very own first car! Yes! Its ‘my gaddi’. And the expression on my face when I sit on my new car! Priceless!

Man to man

Whenever papa comes home early, mum drags him along to our carter road walks! I toh dont walk, so he has to walk me around! hee hee! But dad honestly I totally sympathize with you....I know how tuff it is...and who else will understand you better than me...its a guy thing afterall!

trip to the doc

My trip to the doctor was quite eventful this time. I got no injections (not that I’m scared of them) but I got a lot of compliments. Though I cried a lot when the doctor was checking me, I had a hearty laugh later. The doctor said I’m a superman!! You see not am I only healthy and cute, but also love jumping around and touching everything in sight! I even banged his desk so hard that he was afraid it might break! He also called me handsome so I’m going to reveal to you that even I think the doctor is cute. Don’t get me wrong, its because he not only wears a small teddy on his stethoscope but has toys in his room for cute kids like me to play with and a huge caricature of himself behind him!

Meher didi

Talking about cousins, Meher didi and kabir bhaiya entertain me all the time. And now that I'm learning to recoganise people, after mamma and papa, its Meher didi whose voice I recoganise! Others are still trying....

Mc visit

So what if I can’t binge on chicken burgers and french fries at Mc Donalds like you all, I can certainly make the entire place go hay wire with my mischief and of course pose with Ronald uncle!! You see those two kids with me, they are my cousins Meher and Kabir and guess what they can even eat the burgers! hmmmmm

Thats my mommy!

All you girls stalking me – ATTENTION! You see this pretty lady in the picture? That’s my mom. If you think you can match up to her beauty drop a comment or else – better luck next time!! Shez my yardstick J

Up up & above

I crawl – I eat – I pull – I laugh – I sit – I throw – I turn around - and now - I even ride! OK OK I’m just posing… but that day is not far when I’ll be zoomingggg down the streets of Pali Hill! Beware!

EEEEEEEEE

Hey did I tell you I got my teeth. Actually I got them long back but then masi couldn’t get a picture of me with them so it got delayed. So now – don’t mess with me – I bite!

I'm a big boy!

5 months more to go for my first bday party, I can now sit without support and balance myself at least for sometime. But I have to confess, I don’t like being alone. I love having people around me, playing with me and entertaining me. And for all those who love entertaining me, I have a couple of suggestions – stop making those funny faces, they don’t work any more..i’m a big boy! And of course you can carry me around, and play aeroplane aeroplane, I love it, just make sure I haven’t have had one of my many meals of the day 5 mins before it, or you’ll have to get a taste of what I had..hee hee! Girls keep your hair tied and all the fancy jewellery you wear away because I can grab anything and put it in my mouth and I don’t like someone complaining that I spoilt something. Get it straight, its my birth right!
